Summary (the parts that matter)
- We do not sell personal data. Ever. Not to claims-buyer firms, not to attorney-referral services, not to data brokers.
- We do not require an account. The site is fully usable without signing up, providing an email, or providing a phone number.
- Tool inputs are ephemeral. When you use a calculator on the site, the inputs are processed in your browser or in an ephemeral server function and are not retained.
- Analytics is anonymized. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not store IP addresses or personally identifiable information.
- Advertising is contextual. Ad networks may set their own cookies; see the section below on advertising for details and opt-out options.
What we collect
Tool inputs. When you use a tool (e.g., the Case Value AI), your inputs are processed in your browser or in an ephemeral server function. They are not written to a database, not associated with any persistent identifier, and not retained after the tool response is generated.
Analytics. We use server-log analytics that record the URL visited, the referrer, the approximate location (country + region), and the user-agent string. We do not store IP addresses beyond the standard server-log retention period (30 days) and do not cross-reference analytics data with any other dataset.
Cookies. The site sets a small number of functional cookies (e.g., remembering a state preference if you toggle one). Advertising networks may set their own cookies; see the Advertising section below.
Voluntary submissions. The Settlement Tracker tool collects opt-in, anonymized data about settled cases. Submissions are reviewed before being added to the public dataset and never include personally identifiable information.
Email correspondence. When you email us at any of the addresses listed on the Contact page, we retain the correspondence for as long as needed to respond and address the issue, then archive or delete.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name or contact information unless you voluntarily provide them.
- We do not collect your IP address as a persistent identifier.
- We do not collect device fingerprints to track you across sessions.
- We do not combine your tool inputs with any other dataset.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Advertising
The site displays advertising through third-party ad networks (which may include Google AdSense, Ezoic, or other contextual advertising platforms). These networks set their own cookies and may use information about your visit to this and other websites to display relevant advertisements.
To opt out of personalized advertising from these networks:
- Google AdSense: visit Google Ads Settings.
- Network Advertising Initiative: visit NAI opt-out.
- Digital Advertising Alliance: visit DAA opt-out.
- European users: use the EU consent banner shown on first visit to opt out of personalized advertising.
Ad networks are responsible for their own privacy practices. We do not control what they collect or how they use it beyond requiring contractual compliance with their respective privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the European GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and similar privacy regulations, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we have about you.
- Request deletion of personal data we have about you.
- Object to processing of personal data we have about you.
- Opt out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell personal data; this right is therefore not applicable but you may exercise it anyway).
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@caseworthnow.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days. Because we collect very little personal data, most requests can be honored with a simple confirmation that no responsive data exists.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact privacy@caseworthnow.com and we will delete the data promptly.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Server infrastructure runs on Firebase Hosting with Google Cloud security defaults. We do not retain sensitive personal data, which is the most effective security measure available.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are timestamped at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
